Efforts on to set up AITC state unit: Pyngrope

SHILLONG, Jan 4: President of All India Trinamool Congress-Meghalaya, Charles Pyngrope said that efforts were on set up the state unit of the party.
“We have not set any deadline to set up the state unit. However, we would like to ensure that the state unit is in place at the earliest,” Pyngrope said.
Asked if the names of the office bearers has finalised and sent to the party high command in Kolkata, he said the list is yet to be finalised since they were keen to include some more names.
Pyngrope also said that they would set up a temporary party office on the old Shillong Press Club premises at Lower Lachumiere.
