JJM ‘anomaly’: Ri-Bhoi public asked to depose

NONGPOH, Jan 4: The Additional Deputy Commissioner of Ri-Bhoi, FM Lakiang, has urged the public to come forward to record the statement in regard with the alleged anomaly in the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission in state, at the office of the chamber of Additional District Magistrate, Ri-Bhoi, here on or before January 5.
“Any persons/individual who has found anyone violating the order issued by the Chief Engineer, PHE department, Shillong, for supplying of Gi Pipes by the company Jindal (India) Ltd. inspected by the Dr. Amin Controller Pvt Ltd, a company approved by the government, which is not in accordance with the work order for the purpose of JJM in Ri-Bhoi may come forward for recording the statement,” the Additional DC stated.
