Meghalaya bids tearful farewell to musician Neil Nongkynrih

Shillong, Jan 8: Fans, friends and close relatives bade adieu to the legendary concert pianist and founder of Shillong Chamber Choir, Neil Nongkynrih today with a heavy heart.

Mourners turn up in large numbers at the funeral to pay their last respect to the colossal musician who will continue to live in their hearts for years to come.

The musician died in Mumbai last Wednesday creating a big void in the world of music as well as in the social and cultural arena in his home state of Meghalaya.
