Unclaimed body
A man, identified as Abdul Halim Miya (38), who was admitted at Shillong Civil Hospital, succumbed to his injuries recently. Accordingly, inquest and other legal formalities were observed and the body was sent for post-mortem. Following the autopsy, the body has been kept at the hospital morgue for claim. The deceased is approximately 5.4-feet tall and his complexion is swarthy. He was found wearing black track pant, black undergarment, black/white-striped sweater and yellow socks. According to a driving licence recovered from the deceased, he is a resident of Umpling, Nongpoh, Ri-Bhoi, and is the son of K Miya.
