State logs 76 new cases

SHILLONG, Jan 9: The state on Sunday recorded 76 new COVID-19 cases while no death was reported in the past 24 hours.
The active tally now stands at 394 while 83,355 people have recovered from the viral infection including ten on the day. The death toll remains at 1,485.
Out of the new active cases, 66 cases were detected in East Khasi Hills, five in West Garo Hills, three in Ri Bhoi and one each in East Jaintia Hills and East Garo Hills.
