CMs on Assam and Meghalaya to meet on boundary disputes tomorrow

Shillong, Jan 11: Chief Ministers  of Meghalaya and Assam will hold a meeting on the inter-state boundary issue between the two states in Guwahati tomorrow. The meeting is scheduled to  begin at 1 pm.

It will be the fourth meeting between the two chief ministers on the vexed boundary disputes between the two states. Both the CM’s had decided to resolve the disputes pertaining to various sectors on the boundary in a phased manner.

Tomorrow’s meeting will be attended by all the chairperson of the regional committees as well.

As per officials this meeting is crucial as it could be a decisive one at least on the six identified areas to resolve out of the 12 areas of dispute
