Halla Bol register huge 77-run victory

SHILLONG, Jan 10: Halla Bol registered a massive 77-run win over Harisabha Young Brigade while Young Guns and Aparajita also secured wins in their respective matches of the 9th Ardhendu Chaudhuri Memorial Invitational Tennis Ball Day & Night Cricket Tournamenjt, here on Monday.
In the first match, Halla Bol won the toss and batted first, scoring a mammoth 116 runs in 6 overs.
In reply, Harisabha could only scored 39 runs in the allotted 6 overs with Pankaj Yadav earning the Player-of-the-Match award.
In the second match, Super Kings won the toss and elected to bat first against Young Guns, posting 43 runs in 6 overs.
Young Guns did well in their chase and were able to knock off the required runs in only 4.2 overs. Neetesh Sharma was adjudged Player-of-the-Match for his performance.
In a thrilling last match of the day, Aparajita CC won the toss and made the choice to field first, restricting Trapstar united to 49 runs in 6 overs.
Aparajita then managed to score 50 runs in 4.5 overs.
The Player-of-the-Match award went to Rajdeep Dutta for his contribution.
