Police recover decomposed body from Umran river

Shillong, Jan 13:  Meghalaya Police today recovered the body of one Sebastian Wardkhar (52) from Umran River in Ri Bhoi district. The deceased was reported missing since Jan 2

According to deceased’s sister Lisa Wardkhar, her brother was a daily wage earner hailing from Umran Dairy.

She said her brother did not return after he had left home for work on Jan 2

His decomposed body was spotted by locals this morning and they reported the matter to the police.
