Residential training on JJM in Nongstoin

NONGSTOIN, Jan 12: A four-day residential training programme was organised here by the Centre in collaboration with the PHE department, Nongstoin, for the members of the Village Water and Sanitation Committee concerning the implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission in their respective villages.
The training programme which took place at circuit house Nongstoin housed representatives from KRC Saltlake Institute of Engineering and Management Limited Kolkatta as resource persons.
Speaking about the training programme, DGM Sales of Saltlake Institute of Engineering and Management, Abhijit Fating stated that they have been empanelled by the ministry of Jal Shakti for the National Jal Jeevan Mission Programme which is a first-of-its-kind central government initiative in itself.
“We have been empanelled as a level 3 KRC for the community level this programme entails about the awareness for conservation of water and understanding the purity of water as well,” he said.
