State logs 167 new COVID cases, 1 death

SHILLONG, Jan 13: The state on Thursday recorded 167 fresh COVID-19 cases while one more patient succumbed to the viral infection taking the death toll 1,490.
The active tally now stands at 784 while 83,522 people have recovered from the viral infection including 83 on the day.
130 fresh cases were reported in East Khasi Hills, 16 in West Garo Hills, 11 in Ri Bhoi three in West Khasi Hills and two each in East Jaintia Hills and West Jaintia Hills and one each in South Garo Hills bad South West Khasi Hills.
