SHILLONG, Jan 14: The state government will discuss about the Sonapur bridge which had reportedly developed cracks with the officials of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Monday.
“The experts have already inspected the bridge and they will work out and I will call a meeting on Monday,” informed Deputy Chief Minister in-charge PWD (Roads) Prestone Tynsong on Friday.
A team of experts from NHAI has finished inspecting the Sonapur bridge in East Jaintia Hills, which has reportedly developed cracks, and is expected to submit its report to the government within few days.
