Roshni, Young Guns secure wins

SHILLONG, Jan 15: Roshni and Young Guns won their respective round of 16 matches in the 9th Ardhendu Chaudhuri Memorial Invitational tennis ball cricket matches, here on Saturday. PSWS Municipal batted first, scoring 24 runs in 5.3 overs before Roshni scored 25 in 4.3 overs. Joydeed Ghosh was the Player-of-theMatch for his 4 wickets that included a hat-trick. Later, Young Guns scored 80 in 8 overs against Five Star who were restricted to 49 in 8 overs. Binod Burung was the Player-of-the-Match for his 35 runs in 26 balls.
