The Ministry of Home Affairs has awarded the Union Home Minister’s Trophy for Best Non-Gazetted Training Institute in the Northeast Zone to Police Training School, Umran, Meghalaya, for the year 2020-21.

The Executive Committee of the Seng Samla Nongshilliang Sports and Cultural Club has elected its new office-bearers in a meeting held recently. The office-bearers include Ashbel J Mawrie (president), Pyntngenlang Kharkongor (vice president), Desmond KL Mawlong (general secretary), Roswell Sumer (assistant secretary), and Dapynhun Fancon (sports secretary) among others.
