NONGPOH, Jan 20: As many as four autorickshaws and two shops were fully damaged after an overspeeding truck (NL01AE5591) en route to Guwahati from Shillong rammed them at Umdoh 18 Mile in Ri-Bhoi district on Thursday.
Sources said that the truck driver could not control the overspeeding vehicle which then jumped over the divider and ended up destroying the two shops and autorickshaws. However, no casualty or injury was reported, except the driver of the truck, who received minor injuries.
