Security beefed up on eve of Republic Day

SHILLONG, Jan 25: Ahead of the upcoming Republic Day celebrations, security has been beefed up in the entire state by the police.
As per reports, police naka checking is being conducted in different entry points of the state and strict checking of vehicles is being conducted by the police personnel. Even in different parts of the capital, police were seen frisking vehicles on late Tuesday night.
