USTM faculty injured in road accident

Shillong, Jan 28: A lecturer of the University of Science and Technology, Meghalaya (USTM) and her driver were injured after their vehicle went off the road and fell into a 200-meter deep gorge at Killing in Ri Bhoi district today.

The vehicle (ML05 G 5516) was on its way to the university when the mishap occurred this morning around 10 O’ clock.

The lecturer, identified as Pdianghunshisha Lyngkhoi, resident of Upper Shillong and her driver sustained minor injuries.
