2nd Div Football: Marbisu edge Lumshyiap 2-1

SHILLONG, Jan 29: Marbisu SC came from behind to beat Lumshyiap SC in a thrilling Shillong Sports Association Second Division football match, here on Saturday. Lumshyiap got off to flying start, taking an early 8th minute lead through Bobystar Nongkseh’s goal to go into halftime at 1-0. However, Marbisu scored two goals in two minutes to register an emphatic 2-1 win. Rajipstar Kharjana added his name to the scoresheet in the 69th before Shaipherbok Babai scored Marbisu’s second two minutes later. On Monday, Nongkrem SC will play Wahingdoh SC at 2 pm.
