Sai Kishore, Shahrukh stand-bys for WI series
NEW DELHI, Jan 30: Tamil Nadu cricketers Shahrukh Khan and Sai Kishore are set to miss the initial phase of the Ranji Trophy after being added to India’s white-ball squad as stand-by players for the upcoming West Indies series from February 6 followed by the T20I series in Kolkata from February 16. “Yes, Shahrukh Khan and Sai Kishore have been chosen as stand-bys for the series against West Indies. They will be entering the bubble,” sources within Tamil Nadu Cricket Association told ANI. “With them being named as stand-bys, they are set to miss the initial phase of Ranji Trophy for Tamil Nadu,” the source added. Earthquake felt during U-19 WC match
TAROUBA (TRINIDAD & TOBAGO), Jan 30: An earthquake was felt during the U19 World Cup match between Zimbabwe and Ireland here at the Queen’s Park Oval. An earthquake off the coast of Port of Spain had sent mild tremors at the stadium while Zimbabwe was batting against Ireland at the ongoing tournament, reported ESPNcricinfo. It did not impact play but the commentators talked about the tremors they experienced during the live broadcast. (ANI)

CSK is India’s first Unicorn sports enterprise
Chennai, Jan 30: Ahead of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), one of its most successful franchises, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), has become the country’s first sports Unicorn with its market cap having touched a high of Rs 7,600 crores and its share in the grey market trading in the Rs 210-225 price band. The Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led CSK, which won its fourth IPL title in Dubai last year, now has a market cap more than its parent entity, India Cements. On Friday, India Cements’ market cap stood at Rs 6,869 crores. (IANS)
