2nd Div Football: Mylliem defeat Jongksha 3-1

SHILLONG, Feb 1: Mylliem SC snatched a convincing 3-1 victory over Jongksha SC in their Shillong Sports Association Second Division football match, here on Tuesday. Shembhalang Langbnang put Mylliem in front with a 14th minute conversion before Tirotbornson kharbyngar added a second in the 45th for a 2-0 lead at the break. Rafael G Basaiawmoit consolidated Mylliem’s lead in the 63rd minute as Jongksha struggled to break past the opposition defence. However, they restored some pride in the 90th minute when Khaelius Nongrum found the back of the nets. On Wednesday, Laitkyrhong SC will meet Sohiong SC at 2 pm.
