SHILLONG, Feb 3: A divisional-level Dak Adalat will be organised at the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Meghalaya division, Shillong, at 11.30 am on February 25.
According to a statement, the Dak Adalat will address grievances pertaining to postal services. “The general public can send their written complaints through ordinary post or speed post with the subject ‘Dak Adalat’ superscribed on the cover and address it to the Senior Superintendent of Post Office, Meghalaya Division, Shillong-793001. The complaints must reach the mentioned office on or before February 24,” it said.
It is worth noting that the complaints should contain complete details of the issue. “For complaints about Saving schemes and Postal Life Insurance, the account number, Policy number and full address of the depositor or insurer should be given,” it said.
