Border meeting with Shah deferred

SHILLONG, Feb 7: Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma on Monday said the meeting with Union Home Minister, Amit Shah to finalise the agreement on the six areas of differences between Meghalaya and Assam has been postponed.
Talking to reporters, the CM said he along with his Assam counterpart, Himanta Biswa Sarma were scheduled to meet the Union Home Minister in Delhi to finalise the agreement.
“We will now have to wait for a call from the Union Home Minister for the meeting,” Sangma added.
