Assam Don Bosco University placed in the Band-Excellent category

Guwahati, Feb 10: Assam Don Bosco University has been placed in the Band-Excellent group in the category ‘University Private/Self-Financed’. The ranking was released by Dr. Subhas Sarkar, Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Education, Government of India, according to a Press release.

Band-Excellent is the second-best category next to the top 10 institutes placed in the Ranked category. Band Excellent is followed by Band-Performer, Band-Promising, and Band-Beginner. Assam Don Bosco University is the only institute from North-East India to be placed in the Band-Excellent group for the category University: Private/Self-Financed.

Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) is an initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India to systematically rank all major higher educational institutions and universities in India on indicators related to “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development” amongst students and faculties.
