SHILLONG, Feb 9: Player-of-the-Match Jaskirat Sachdeva took five wickets for Nongmensong as they beat Langsning XI CC by 82 runs in their Shillong Cricket Association Super Division match, here on Wednesday.
Earlier, Nongmensong won the toss and batted first, before being bowled out for 199 in 39.3overs. Their innings was held together by Arpit Bhatewara’s 53 that came off 87 balls and Manish Kumar Ray’s 52 in 53 balls. For Langsning, Wallam Marngar took 2/18 in 5.3 overs.
In reply, Langsning could only score 117 as they were bowled out in 23.1overs. Sylvester Mylliempdah top-scored with 36 runs while Jaskirat was the pick of the bowlers, taking 5/16 from 5.1.
