Meghalaya CM inspects ongoing projects in South Garo Hills

Shillong, Feb 10: Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma  today inspected the ongoing construction of Captain Williamson Sangma Memorial College in South Garo Hills district.

This college is being constructed at a cost of  Rs 12 cr with an aim to create better higher education facilities in South Garo Hills.

The CM said the government was trying to accord adequate thrust to neglected regions of the State.

He said the ongoing implementation of the Baghmara Water Supply Scheme was part of the initiative.

He also spoke about the various road projects that are going on to ensure internal connectivity and rural connectivity in the district.
