Four deaths, 120 fresh cases

SHILLONG, Feb 10: The state on Thursday recorded 120 fresh cases of COVID-19 while four more patients succumbed to the viral infection in the past 24 hours taking the death toll to 1,558.
All deaths were recorded in East Khasi Hills.
The active tally stands at 1,020 while 90,188 people have recovered from the viral infection including 194 on the day.
50 fresh cases were detected in East Khasi Hills, 22 in West Jaintia Hills, 15 in West Garo Hills, nine in Ri-Bhoi, five in North Garo Hills, four in South West Garo Hills, three each in East Garo Hills, Eastern West Khasi Hills and East Jaintia Hills and two each in South West Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills and South Garo Hills.
