SHILLONG, Feb 10: Royals CC defeated Titans CC by 70 runs in their Shillong Cricket Association Super Division match, here on Thursday.
Earlier, Royal CC won the toss and elected to bat first, posting 162/2 in 27overs under the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method. Player-of-the-Match Swastic Chettri carved out a fine 54 off 69 balls while Nishant scored a patient 38. Eeeshant Chettri took 1/16.
In reply Titans, were bundled out for 91 in 27 overs with Jitu Gogoi’s 22 being the top score for the team. Pankaj Mandal took 3/22 from his 5 overs.
