Super Div Cricket: Royal CC to meet United XI in final

SHILLONG, Feb 20: Royal CC defeated Nongmensong CC by 22 runs in an exciting Shillong Cricket Association Super Division semi-final match, here on Sunday to set up a final clash against United XI. Earlier, Royal CC won the toss and elected to bat first, as they were restricted to 195/9 wkts in the allotted 40 overs. Joydeepan top-scored with a knock of 60 runs off 70 balls while Player-of-the-Match Sikander scored 22 in 16 balls. For Nongmensong, Sagar took 3/35 from his 8 overs. In reply, Nongmensong could only manage 173 runs before being bowled out in 40 overs, thanks to some fine bowling by the Royal bowlers that handed them a 22-run victory. Arpit scored 53 while Pushkar made 25 runs. Aaron was the pick of the bowlers, returning figures of 4/35 from 7.4 overs while Sikander took 3/33 in 8 overs.
