The Assam Rifles organised the inaugural Half Marathon as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations on Sunday, at the Headquarters of the Directorate General Assam Rifles, Laitkor Garrison, Shillong. The Half Marathon commemorates 75 years of progressive India and the history of its people, culture and achievements and also promotes the “Fit India Movement”.
