Convergence camp held in West Garo Hills

Tura, Feb 22: A one day convergence camp was recently organized by the Krimko CLF under the VEC-CBO Convergence Project of Kudumbashree National Resource Organisation in collaboration with Meghalaya State Rural Livelihood Society at Tebronggre village under Rongram Block in West Garo HIlls.

 

The camp which was aimed at facilitating eligible beneficiaries amongst the community to have access to the prevalent schemes of different departments, was inaugurated by the Block Development Officer with the planting a tree followed by opening of various stalls.

 

The daylong programme included the enrollment of people for Aadhar, Labour card, PMSBY/ PMJJBY life insurance, Old age, Widow and Disability Pension as well as registration for Covid-19 vaccination and free medical checkup along with distribution of medicines.
