HSPDP wants to push youths to contest elections

SHILLONG, Feb 21: The Hill State People’s Democratic Party (HSPDP) has said that the party wants to encourage educated youths to join the political battle in 2023. “As the party, we want to give more tickets to the educated youth who are the future of the state. We hope that more youths would come forward to seek the party ticket,” HSPDP president, KP Pangniang, said.
Pangniang informed that the party has decided to field a potential candidate, Shakliar Warjri, against sitting UDP MLA and Cabinet Minister, HB Nongsiej, from Mawthadraishan Constituency, in the upcoming polls.
