1st Div Cricket: Young Guns beat Metallica by 36 runs

SHILLONG, Feb 27: Young Guns got the better of Metallica CC in what turned out to be a low-scoring Shillong Cricket Association First Division match, here on Sunday. Batting first after winning the toss, Young Guns were dismissed for just 84 runs in 15.4 overs. Shubham Deb’s 13 turned out to be the highest score of the innings while for Metallica CC, Rahul took 4/29 in 5 overs. However, Metallica CC struggled to score and were bowled out for paltry 48 in 20.2 overs, thus, losing the match by 36 runs. Abhijeet Dey top-scored with 11 runs. Player-of-the-Match Jameel was unstoppable as he finished with figures of 3/7 from 6.2 overs while teammate Beeru took 3/6 in his 4 overs.
