20 fresh cases, no death

SHILLONG, March 1: The state on Tuesday recorded 20 fresh cases of COVID-19 while no death was reported during the past 24 hours.
The active cases stand at 150 while 91,759 people have recovered so far, including 38 on the day. The death toll in the state remains at 1,578.
Four new cases were reported in West Garo Hills, three each in East Khasi Hills and Ri-Bhoi, two each in North Garo Hills and East Jaintia Hills and one each in East Garo Hills, Eastern West Khasi Hills, South Garo Hills, South West Garo Hills, West Jaintia Hills and West Khasi Hills.
The government has administered 23,55,994 doses so far. Over 9.6 lakh citizens have been fully vaccinated in the state.
