PDS quota
The Additional Deputy Commissioner (S), in-charge of Sohra Civil Sub Division, has informed that rice at the scale of 35 kg per card at Rs 3 per kg for AAY card holders and 5 kg per head at Rs 3 per kg for PHH card holders and 7.215 kg per card at the cost fixed by the vigilance committee of not more than Rs 15 per kg for non-NFSA card holders for February will be distributed through the fair price shops. Meanwhile, the government, in addition to the normal quota, has also released rice free-of-cost under PMGKAY at 5 kg per head for AAY and PHH card holders for February.

Dak Adalat
Circle-level Dak Adalat will be conducted at the office of the Chief Postmaster General, North East Circle, Shillong, at 11 am on March 17. The Dak Adalat will entertain grievances pertaining to postal services for its redressal. Written complaints should be sent so as to reach the aforementioned office on or before March 14.
