NPP candidate elected CEM of GHADC

Tura, March 5: Pa. Albinush Raksam Marak  of NPP has been elected the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) defeating the AITC candidate Dhormonath Ch Sangma by a margin of five votes. Winning candidate Marak polled 17 votes against 12 polled by Sangma.
