Illegal coal
A Sun, Junior Engineer, PWD (Roads), NEC, Khliehriat Division, and C Buam, District Statistical Officer, Khliehriat, lodged a complaint that during inspection of a coal stock along with police and DMO officials, five illegal coal dumps were found at 2 Kilo along Sutnga Road, East Jaintia Hills.
The SDO (C), Chokpot Civil Sub-Division, South Garo Hills, lodged a complaint that on March 29, Deputy Commissioner of South Garo Hills and police conducted raid in a coal-belt area of Chokpot during which 70 numbers of unclaimed and extracted coal dumps were found lying at different places. Later, police seized the coal.

Theft
Janseng Sangma lodged a complaint that on the night of March 28, unknown miscreant(s) stole one motorcycle (ML-07A-7099) belonging to his uncle from his residential compound at Banggonggre Gittinggre village, East Garo Hills.
B Marbañiang lodged a complaint that on March 28 evening, unknown miscreant(s) broke into her residence at Lumparing, Kynjatphutbol, Shillong, and stole Rs 4,02,000 in cash.

Vehicular mishap
Iaikmen Nongrum lodged a complaint that on Jan 1, 2022, around 4.30 am, one scooty (ML-05N-4839) dashed against his local taxi (ML-05K-0444) at Nongmensong, Shillong.
