Ex-MLA now in Cong fold

SHILLONG, April 6: Former MLA Francis Pondit R Sangma has officially joined the Congress with the intention to contest the upcoming Assembly election from Rambrai-Jyrngam Constituency.
This comes in the wake of party MLA Kimfa Marbaniang’s anticipated move to leave Congress and contest the 2023 polls on National People’s Party (NPP) ticket.
