SHILLONG, April 7: Umphyrnai SC handed Smit SC a comprehensive 3-0 loss in their Shillong Sports Association First Division football match, here on Thursday. Umphyrnai didn’t have to wait long to snatch the lead as Damanglang Kharbyngar scored in only the 9th minute to give his side a 1-0 lead going into the break. Eight minutes after the restart, Armanki Kharkongor made it 2-0 before Vicky Sharma completed the rout when he found the back of the nets in the 67th minute. On Friday, Nongrim Hills SC take on Lawsohtun SC at 3:30 pm.
