SHILLONG, April 13: Narpuh Border Areas Joint Action Committee on Wednesday warned that it will shut down the toll plaza at Lumshnong in East Jaintia Hills if the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) fails to clear the waterlogging from Lumshnong Market to Lumshnong PS along National Highway-6 within seven days.
In a letter to the East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner, the Committee said that the said stretch of road along the National Highway is seasonally flooded with rainwater.
