Plain against defunct veterinary hospital

TURA, April 14: The Niksamso A’chik Society (NAS), a so called Garo Community Organization from Willamnagar in East Garo Hills has written to the Minister of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, questioning the non-functioning of the Veterinary Hospital at Dobu in the same district.
In their complaint to the Minister, the organization said that many people from the area are facing problems for treatment of their pets and livestock due to the non-functioning of the facility which was already completed in 2017. The organization added that due to the facility being non-functional, the people are compelled to walk the long distance to Williamnagar to get their animals treated.
