Metbah, Banteidor call on survivors of Ri-Bhoi road mishap

SHILLONG, April 18: Assembly Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh and Sports Minister Banteidor Lyngdoh visited the three injured table tennis players — Ramesh Santosh Kumar, Abinash Prasannaji Srinivasan and Kishore Kumar — who survived the horrific accident in Ri-Bhoi that took the life of 18-year-old national-level player, Deenadayalan Vishwa.
The three are admitted at NEIGRIHMS.
Also, BJP leaders including party’s Shillong City unit general secretary, Rocky Hek, met the survivors of the ill-fated accident to check on them.
The Shillong City unit of BJP is trying to arrange a helicopter to shift the three paddlers to Guwahati on Tuesday.
