Deworming
The Office of the District Medical & Health Officer, East Khasi Hills, will hold national deworming programme from April 19 to 26 across the district with an aim to intensify efforts towards eradicating Soil Transmitted Helminths (STH). It will be conducted through school-based approach, session site and community-based door-to-door approach.
