MLA visits city mosque during Ramadan

SHILLONG, April 24: On the eve of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, Minister in-charge of Arts and Culture, Sanbor Shullai, visited Madina Masjid at Jhalupara and addressed the Muslim community of South Shillong constituency.
During his visit, the South Shillong MLA thanked the community for their support since 2008 when he was first elected as an MLA.
Assuring peace and communal harmony in the constituency, Shullai appealed to all to pray for unity during the holy month of Ramzan.
Meanwhile, general secretary of North East Muslim Union, Md. Zakaria, said that the work done by Shullai in South Shillong constituency is a gift to the people.
