All Saints HSS win by massive 71 runs

SHILLONG, April 26: Laban Bengalee Boys HSS, All Saints HSS and Kendra Vidyalaya EAC Upper Shillong won their respective Inter-school Babu Ondromoni U-18 cricket matches, here on Tuesday.
In the first match, Ruprekha Parishad SS won the toss and elected to bat first, scoring 90 /9 in 15 overs. Bikash Roy (18) and Sachin Mohato (17) were the highest-scorers. Sudhir Kumar took 3/16.
Needing 91 to win, Laban Bengalee Boys reached 94/7 in 15 overs. Anmol Sunar was the top-scorer with 15 runs off 13 balls. Param Singh took 3/15.
In the second game, All Saints won the toss and batted first against BSF, putting up an imposing 150/3 in 15 overs. Snehal Dutta completed a swashbuckling innings of 72 runs off only 45 balls while Manthan Dey hit 44 runs. Siddharth Sunar (1/23) picked up a wicket.
BSF were bundled out for 79 in 10.4 overs. Avinash Kumar Sah scored 18. Sohan Bhattacharjee bowled beautifully to finish with figures of 6/14 from 2.4 overs.
Later, KV EAC Upper Shillong fielded first after winning the toss, restricting Gandhi Buniyadi HS to 105/9 in 15 overs. Narendra Singh made 22. For KV, Aryan Pandey claimed 3/11.
In reply, KV EAC completed the chase, scoring 108/5 in 13.5 overs thanks to Dipayan Nandi’s 41-ball knock of 40. Rohit Kumar, meanwhile, finished with figures of 3/15.
