SRWP scheme launched in WKH

NONGSTOIN, April 29: As many as 1,100 households in Nongstoin are set to benefit from the Special Rural Works Programme (SRWP) 2021-22 which was recently launched by MLA of Nongstoin, Macmillan Byrsat.
Speaking to media persons after the launch, Byrsat said that the scheme for distributing CGI sheets is under the SRWP and a total of 1,100 households will benefit from it. He also said that during the year 2020 – 21 more than 1,200 households benefited from the SRWP individual scheme.
“Besides the distribution of CGI sheets, MLA schemes were earlier allocated for construction of a school building, playground and community hall,” Byrsat added.
