TURA, May 2: Voicing concern over the non-completion of the PMGSY road from Oragitok to Chandegre via Sasatgre, the Federation of Khasi Jaintia Garo People (FKJGP) from Nengkra in East Garo Hills has urged the contractor concerned to complete the project at the earliest.
According to the federation, the ongoing construction of the aforementioned road in East Garo Hills has been abandoned for nine years with no signs of the project restarting.
“We demand that the contractor charged with the task to complete the road project at the earliest. We will no longer merely raise our voice against such negligence but will take legal action against him,” the federation warned.
