The Ministry of Home Affairs through the office of the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills has invited nominations from desiring candidates for the Jeevan Raksha Padak Series of Awards, 2022, for meritorious acts of human nature in saving the lives of persons in incidents like drowning, accidents, fire incidents, electrocution, landslides, animal attack and rescue operation in mines, etc.

Nokgil Wari Warimagre Custom Hiring Centre (CHC) was formed at Warimagre village under Chokpot C&RD Block under the guidance of CAU-KVK, South Garo Hills. Senior Scientist & Head of CAU-KVK, South Garo Hills, Dr. Athokpam Haribhushan, distributed farm equipment and machineries to the CHC on Tuesday.
