Nongthymmai suffer 1-5 loss against Maw-U-Tieng

SHILLONG, May 11: Maw-U-Tieng displayed total dominance over Nongthymmai SC winning 5-1 while Laitkor were awarded three goals via walkover against Thynroit SC in their respective Shillong Sports Association (SSA) Women’s Football League 2022 matches, here on Wednesday. In the first game, Nongthymmai were left clueless as Maw-U-Tieng scored at will. Phibashisha Lyngdoh opened in the 11th minute. The in the 20th, Joytiful Narlong doubled the advantage before Nongthymmai’s Iaphishisha Marbaniang reduced the deficit three minutes later. However, Maw-U-Tieng’s Eliva scored a brace (23’ & 56’) before Antisha Maring completed a 5-1 win with a 60th minute goal. Later, Laitkor SC were awarded a 3-0 win via walkover against Thynroit SC and three points. On Thursday, Nongrim Hills SC face Smit SC at 3:30 pm.
