SHILLONG, May 14: A total of 214 recruits passed out of the 194th Recruit Training Batch of 58 Gorkha Training Centre (GTC) on Saturday.
According to a statement, the passing-out parade was held at Harish Parade Ground, 58 GTC, Happy Valley.
Commandant of 58 GTC, Brig. Robi Kapoor, who reviewed the parade, congratulated the soldiers for completing the training.
During the presentation ceremony, recruit Laxman Kumar Shrestha was awarded the Overall Best Recruit and Recruit of 5 Gorkha Rifles (Frontier Force), and recruit Subash Roka Magar was awarded Best Recruit of 8 Gorkha Rifles.
