Man admits to ‘sexually assaulting’ daughter

NONGSTOIN, May 17: A man from Nongstoin has reportedly conceded to sexually assaulting his minor daughter.
On May 16, it was informed that one Olphaiontis Lyngdoh Marshillong (37) of Lawse village had reportedly sexually assaulted his 12-year-old daughter.
A team of Nongstoin police was also sent to detain the accused, who reportedly admitted to perpetrating the crime.
The alleged victim had also confirmed the same in her statement.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case to further investigate the matter.
