Finely Pariat elected AFI Associate VP

Shillong, May 29: Secretary of the Meghalaya Athletics Association and general secretary of the Meghalaya State Olympic Association (MSOA), Finely Pariat has been elected as Associate Vice-President of the Athletics Federation of India (AFI). The decision was taken at the federation’s annual general meeting in Chandigarh. Pariat is the first individual from Meghalaya chosen for the role, and along with other elected officials, was felicitated by AFI Senior Vice-President, Anju Bobby George among other dignitaries.
